Simple and efficient September 7, 2010 Fox-Fyr I bought the Cuisinart Csb-76 handblender after checking other reviews.
I use it primarily to puree baby food. It works great. Very sharp. Easy to use. Purees well. Easy to clean because the bottom half detaches and is submersible. Only downside is that it's best to rinse it immediately after using it or else it's hard to wash out the food from near the blades without cutting one's self. The cup that comes with it is just the right size to make an entire icecube tray worth of baby food.
Perfect Product September 5, 2010 J. Foster (SC) We first had the plastic Cuisinart hand blender (cordless) and it was great for travel (i.e. mashing a banana into babyfood while in a restaurant), but the plastic melted when I used it in pasta sauce. SO went with this one because otherwise the first one was great. While this one isn't cordless, I can live with that b/c I LOVE that it's steel and so sturdy. It works like a charm and cleans off great. Highly recommend. (Oh and you cannot beat the price!!)
Gave this to a friend as Bridal Shower Gift September 4, 2010 G. Chen (USA) She loved it. I think this small appliance looks a lot more expensive than it really is. The reason I got it is because it had such high reviews on Amazon. The general public is usually pretty right. The item was originally discounted at ~$25 when I got it, but I think even if that were double the price it would still be worth it. Just compare this item to similiar hand blenders. Other manufacturers try to charge $50-75 for the same thing.
Love this product.... September 3, 2010 A. Archer (Montana, United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this Cuisinart Immersion Hand Blender to replace one that had a plastic blade protector, that broke. This one has a metal protector over the blade. The blending shaft and protector is one piece, easily attachs and can be removed with the push of a button. Easy to clean.
The Best August 30, 2010 KKidd This is our 3rd hand mixer over the past 10 years. This is a simple gadget with single speed and a flexible soft cord. This shows there are times when simple is the best and this is the best.
