Product Description In "Random Acts of Management", cartoonist Scott Adams offers sardonic glimpses once again into the lunatic office life of Dilbert , Dogbert, Wally, and others, as they work in an all-too-believably ludicrous setting filled with incompetent management, incomprehensive project acronyms, and minuscule raises. Syndicated since 1989, Dilbert appears in more than 1,900 newspapers in sixty-five countries. Dilbert also appears in his own weekly television show, and on calenders, greeting cards, and Diberitos. Cartoonist Scott Adams spent plenty of time in his own cubicle world, working in a bank and for a telephone company before moving full-time to his home office in 1995. In 1997, he received the Reuben Award, cartooning's highest honour. Adams lives in California.

Dilbert humor is a good way to cheer yourself up if you are caught in the corporate bog March 3, 2010 Charles Ashbacher (Marion, Iowa United States(cashbacher@yahoo.com)) To most people that read and chuckle over the Dilbert comic strip, it is an act equivalent to whistling past a graveyard. Clueless management, phony numbers, insecure workers and poor quality products touted as golden seem to be standard fare in the modern corporate world. Nearly everyone that reads the strip recognizes incidents from their work history and if nothing else laughing about it is a good way to cope and release frustration.
If you are insecure in your job, and if you are it is a sign of sanity in modern times, then keeping the most positive attitude possible is the best way to cope. An injection of the wry humor of the Dilbert strip is a good way to stay cheerful, although it is natural to groan at the humor on occasion.

I own 8 Dilbert books I would say that this is my favorite. This book represents the best of Dilbert and has some of the most hilarious cartoons I have read. I would definitely recommend getting this.
The Way Dilbert Should Be May 28, 2004 Mr. Bey (Riverside, CT United States) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I've grown up with Dilbert and belive me when I say this stuff is great. My favorite character is definetly Wally because he's so lazy. The Dlibert books are great and they always make me laugh. I have 11 Dilbert books and I really can't say I dislike any of them. A great deal for you money and one of the best Dilbert books.

Par for the course. November 12, 2002 James Yanni (Bellefontaine Neighbors, Mo. USA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
What can I say? It's a Dilbert book; if you like Dilbert, you'll like it. If you don't, you won't. It isn't the best Dilbert book out there, but it's not the worst, either. (And of course, for those of us who like it, even the worst Dilbert book is worth reading.) It's good, chuckle-producing fun, but not rolling-on-the-floor laughing fun.
