Since the suicide of his older brother, Jeremy has been unable to connect with others, but when he loses his job and begins running short on cash Jeremy has to learn how to rely on the milk of human kindness. His only friend Tony, a dishwasher at the Golden Lucky Panda, does his best to help Jeremy in his struggles, but shortly comes against his own opposition when he discovers that he's suffering from a severe medical ailment. The two of them cling to their friendship, and try their best to overcome the constant storms of adversity in a world that so often seems cruel in it's indifference.
