Product Description As Nancy Drew, you'll have to expose an ominous threat! TV's hottest soap star, Rick Arlen, is receiving threatening letters, and it's up to Nancy to get to the bottom of them. Great for individual play or for sleuthing with Mom, Sis or friends!
Amazon.com Review Nancy Drew has always been a great heroine, but she seemed kind of, well... stuffy. No more: Nancy gets down to the dirty work of crime solving in the excellent and engaging Nancy Drew: Stay Tuned for Danger. As you might imagine, we see a lot of software, but Danger captivated us, holding us long enough to postpone other reviews while we searched for more clues! In the game, Nancy's job is to investigate death threats coming to Rick Arlen, a hunky TV soap star. The plot is straightforward enough, and here's what the software really does well: ambiance. The first-person perspective puts you in the center of the crime scenes, and the inventive game design lets you pick up objects for investigation and keep notes on things you've found. Occasionally, you come across another person, and it can often be surprising. In the style of Choose Your Own Adventure books, you're given various questions to ask, and what you choose alters the outcome of what you learn. The people seem a little stiff in conversation (and, to be honest, in the graphics), but in a strange way, it helps increase the creepiness factor--an uptight verbal response makes sense, considering they're being interviewed about a serious crime. There's a real rush that comes from finding key elements and extracting just the right piece of information from an unwitting witness. Nancy Drew, first created as a female version of the Hardy Boys in 1929, has weathered fashion and tastes well through the work of HerInteractive. For girls too old for "kids' stuff" but who still want a game that's all theirs, Nancy Drew: Stay Tuned for Danger can help fulfill a teen or preteen's need for adventure. --Jennifer Buckendorff

Stay Tuned for a STFD Review. December 28, 2009 Crystal Barbwire The story begins with you as Nancy Drew going undercover in the big apple and staying with the famous movie star Mattie Jensen who wants your help to slove the mystery of the scary threats that have been sent to her co-star Rick Arlen. When you snoop around for clues you see that somebody really would like nothing more than Rick Arlen to Die.You see a stack of threating letters, posined choclates, and in one scene rick almost get's knocked out for good when he was practincing his lines on stage. Find out quickly who is after Rick Arlen, or otherwise you could find yourself in danger....
Graphics: Graphics have improved alot since the first game. It's all 3d now. No more mixing of 2d and 3d. It could still use some improvement , but it is HER's 2nd game and they came a long way from the first one. 10/10.
Music: The music in this game will get your adrenling running that's for sure. 10/10.
Characters: You have sweet innoncent Mattie Jenson who you discover is a good caring woman. Then you have Rick Arlen who is a bit egotistical , but sweet all the same. However he doesn't seem to be taking these threats serisouly...Dwayne Powers who is Mattie Jenson's agent and use to be intrested in a carrer of acting himself , however that all changed when Rick got all the limelight. Then their is a very cranky producer named Lilly and it's frustrating to figure out what her problem is. Finally you then meet a little old lady named Millie who takes care of the prop room....Overall a instresting set of characters , all with diffent personality's. 10/10.
The plot and setting are all amazing. You will have so much fun with this game. However be warned vista users , that this game will likly not work at all on your computer. There is a way to get it to work if you look at HER's website, but it's now garentee. So you may be wasting your money on this game.
Great better than the first one! December 12, 2009 I love this game!I did junior and senior and i am on master detective. The graphics are awsome and better than Secrets can kill. The game is very fun and enjoyable.I already knew who the culprit was.It is kinda creepy at night with the bomb in Rick`s dressing room.I like that part.I don`t know why.It is a very fun part to me. I reccommed this game for the challenging and peple who like scary things.
Stay Tuned for ADDICTION! August 2, 2009 A. malo My son and daughter are both 14 and they even love these games. The picture makes you feel as though you are right in the studio. I recommend it for ANYONE who is in for a challenge and some fun, too. You will love this game, I guarentee! But be warned........... you may become addictided to playing!
Good, but old July 14, 2009 Keely I had problems playing this one because the game was so old- it would not work on an XP at all. However, once you get around that obstacle, the game itself was OK. It was actually a really good game, seeing all the actors and sets. There was a lot to do, and I really enjoyed that. And there was more than just one place to go. Definitely one of the better games!!
Fun but - February 1, 2009 Rachel Wykoff This game is sooo much fun! Oddly enough though as the second one in the series it cannot even be played on windows XP. The first one however can. No clue as to why. But if you do have an older model I suggest playing this one!
