The one that started it all. July 11, 2010 M. King This is the first game that started the fine and most popular COD trilogy today. Everything about this game just says AWESOME. For one of the first ps2 games out there, it is really advanced and has decent graphics. Yes they suck for today but this game did not come out today or last month. Like many other fps shooter games, you run around killing people and coplete objectives until the mission is beat. There are quite a few missions that take quite a time to beat so you wont be bored or dissapointed. The layout and way they made this game was very impressive. From the dogs barking in the city street backgrounds in Germany, to farm houses and deserts. Yes, many places you go in your campaign. Now, for when you beat the game. Not much to do but beat the missions over again. Wait, there has to be something else, yes there is. This game has an excellent online feature. You can host, join, and make your own type of game to play online with many people. Even though this game is very old, people still play online, lots of people. Yes the lag is pretty bad but there are amazing places to go and fight for you team. The main thing that i did not like on this game was how hard it was. If i can remember, i died on the first level. Pretty sad right? But it takes forever to beat beacuse it is so hard and the controls get a time getting used to. The underground sewers are a confusing and very hard place to fight. So take your time getting used to it and play all the way through, you are up for a challenge.
inside call of duty:finest hour September 9, 2008 Carlos Ruiz (Los Angeles, CA USA) I just want to say that Call of Duty is one of the best war game franchises to date...gameplay is exeptional. Their dedication to try to maintain historical accuracy is what strikes me the most.I definately recommend this game to any fan of this game genre whether is first time players of seasoned gamers.A must have in your collection
very good game August 21, 2008 Jason A. Hubbard this game is very good i just love it, its probobly as good or better than medal of honor
Realistic WWII game. A+ August 7, 2008 This is one of the best WWII FPS games i have ever played. highly realistic. i would recommend this to one of my friends.
One of the best WWII FPSs. July 30, 2008 Adam Taylor (Phoenix, AZ) I am a huge WWII videogame fan. I own Medal of Honor Frontline, Rising Sun, Allied Assault, European Assault, and Heroes. I also own this game and might buy Call of Duty Roads to Victory,3, and 2. I was seriously surprised when I played CoD Finest Hour. Starting off, it only uses about 60 KB of memory card space. The unique thing about Call of Duty is that you get to be put into several soldiers shoes, which you don't experience in MoH. The storyline is great, not containing any trace of cheesiness, and takes place in Russia, North Africa, and the Battle of the Bulge. The graphics are top notch, making it feel more realistic. The guns look very similar to their real-life counterparts and sound realistic as well. Some features that help gameplay are realistic shellshock, gun ironsights, very fun multiplayer, and the ability to drive tanks. Overall, I give this 5 stars and seriously recommend that you own it. It will bring enjoyment every time you play and will never get old.
