First off,I'm a nearly rabid Jeff Beck fan. I got this cd at the same time as another live beck disc(live at Ronnie Scott's) While both are very good this one is more intense. I wonder if Beck thought being at B.B. King's I better bring it.He certainly did. The whole disc is full of loud virtuoso performances like only he can provide. As an import it is a pricey disc,but for true afficianados or someone with disposable income,I would highly reccomend.

This CD brings outstanding sound quality to an intimate live performance by our greatest living electric guitarist. Jeff's performance of "Brush with the Blues" is the best ever captured on record. To say that the guitar tone is outrageous would be an understatement - the instrument is literally speaking with a totally new voice, one that hasn't been heard on any of Jeff's previous recordings. If you're a Beck fan this is absolutely an indispensible addition to your library. I paid $40 for my copy - haven't been so satisfied with anything in years. If you're a musician, there's a lot to learn here. A tour de force.

While there are great bootleg recordings of great music (and there are many of Jeff Beck), this is an example of a bad one, that catches him in a less than stellar performance. There are also problems with the sound balance in the club, and on the recording. Beck's playing is powerful, but ragged, raw, and loud, and he overplays on most of the numbers. I strongly encourage all except Jeff Beck completists to bypass this one, and grab the Official Bootleg CD instead, which captures an example of a perfect Jeff Beck concert.

When I bought this CD it cost a hell of a lot less! It's Jeff Beck, what can you say, he's great, and he's in a league of his own. If you like Jeff Beck, Buy it!!

Beck's performance at the Crossroads festival 2007 was amazing. After seeing that on DVD I would have expected more of the same on this live set. The Crossroads performance was a a great mix of guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. This album is all about Beck overplaying playing his guitar with little support from a backing band.
