JUST BUY IT. JBL 610 BETTER THEN BOSE. LIKE THAT. July 3, 2009 Kenny Herrera (NoHo, CA USA) i bought myself about few years ago a bose headphone for $175 which the price went down for $139 now. I saw this one review that bose headphone are better then this. i was this close not to them but i am so glad i did and for this one review guy all i got to say u must be on crack. 1st. this are wireless bluetooth 2nd. sounds are insane 3rd. voice cancellation 4th. their 1 pound light which means after 30mins or more it gets heavy. 5th. bluetooth adapter so you can put it on your ipod 6th. you can control it from the headphone. 7th. comfortable as hell. 8th. if you wanna go more high tech with an extra ca$h you can buy yourself a bluetooth dongle and stream music anywhere that is capability for bluetooth. 9th. if you look up how much this really is outside from amazon u will come back and buy right away. 10. BUY IT. SO WORTH MY MONEY.
Great Sound! June 30, 2009 M. Kadinger (Des Moines) I have had these headphones for about 3 weeks. The sound is awesome. Battery life is great. They have not pooped out on me yet. My ipod touch does though, the battery life on the touch is less than what I need and I have to plug in the cigarette lighter adapter. I drive a truck for a living and use these to listen to music and audio books while I am driving. The sound quality is phenomenal. The only downsides that I get so far is that the charger for the headphones is difficult to plug in. It takes a little finesse and it seems delicate. Also I have the 3.0 ipod touch upgrade that just came out and though I can control volume and muting on the headphones, all the other controls are useless. With the upgrade you don't need to use the dongle. But the full features of controlling the ipod without the dongle at this point don't seem to work. I'm checking on that problem. Overall these headphones deliver what is most important to me. Kick'n sound quality. When I listen to music I demand the best sound, and these headphones provide it. Clear highs and midrange that will knock your socks off. Extremely good stereo separation. Decent bass, but never enough for me. Headphones are hard put to provide a thumpy bass. But these do a decent job considering. They come with a fantastic array of adapters and such. I'm thinking to use the dongle on my XM Radio to get wireless Bluetooth on it! Haven't tried it yet. Great headphones and a very comfortable fit, and look good to. I would buy them again. But I really wish they had made the charger port more accessible.
JBL's Outstanding Headphones May 7, 2009 Bill A. Blecha (Springfield, VA) This headset is outstanding in sound and comfort. They're easy to set up and connect wirelessly to my ipod. They're state-of-the-art in every detail (JBL's sound technology rocks)and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They're fantastic!!!!
Excellent. March 27, 2009 Dr. Girlfriend (Chicago, Illinois United States) I just got these to replace a pair of Creative bluetooth phones. I thought I was happy with my Creative phones, even with the occasional bit of static and the limited battery life.. these things weren't major issues for me. But I saw a deal on this headset and once I learned they are made by Harmon Kardon I figured I couldn't go wrong. These blow my Creative phones out of the water. We're talking total annihilation here. First of all, these are designed to work wit iPods 4th generation AND ON. So this includes the 2G Touch which is what I am using. The receiver is great, matches the Touch exactly. It pairs in seconds, too. The headphones are comfortable -- soft, buttery leather. They also come with a bunch of swappable tips for the AC charger -- so you can charge these in Europe and Asia. They also include a handsome carrying pouch. Very happy with this purchase. Absolutely no regrets.
YES, they work with iPhone 3G!! February 4, 2009 Matthew L. Kolb (South River, New Jersey United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow, all I can say is that it was well worth the wait! I have been looking and researching bluetooth headphones extensively every since the very first ones where introduced for the iPods. They always fell short in some aspect. Usually sound quality or esp style! Most of them are absolutely hideous! What kind of Industrial Designers are making these, or is it a lack there of?! About the headphones: Sound quality is amazing for bluetooth! Really sound clean and clear! I am able to leave them in the office and go halfway through the warehouse before they cut out! But watch out, when they go out of range you get this obnoxious tone that you have to power them down to turn off. Battery life is REALLY good! And man, do they look good!! As for iPhone use/tips: first put the bluetooth receiver in the dock connector of your iPhone, THAN power on the headphones. When you put the receiver in my iPhone usually goes into a frantic PLAY/PAUSE. Don't worry, just go into the iPod app if your not already in it and push the play/pause button. Thats it! Not really a big deal at all to get these to work. I can still get calls, don't have to put it in airport, etc. If it asks for Airport mode, click NO. One last odd tip that is to the iPhone.. say I power off the headphones and leave the receiver plugged in. Before using the headphones again to hear music I have to unplug and re-plug in the receiver. So despite these two minor hiccups with the iPhone--I can certainly live with them as they are miniscule! If you get a call it will act just as if you had regular non-iPhone headphones on... and will go back to music when your done. The headphones have no mic in them which would be my one gripe. I'm not saying that I want to use them as my headset but is nice to have the option if you receive a call while listening to music... Don't wait--buy these! I've looked at EVERY SINGLE OPTION to this date!
