3 out of 5 stars Meh. Playable.   March 8, 2009
Alex Graham (Portland, OR)
If someone gives it to you, fine, but don't pay for it.
If you played through R6V, you got all you need. The plot is stupid and the characters shallow, which really sucks because Tom Clancy got famous for having intriguing plots and well-developed characters.
The game itself is playable but suffers from all the same stupid glitches and bad decisions as the first one - bodies disappear too quickly, your team stops following directions, your character stops being able to issue instructions, your team gets you killed, the sound disappears, etc., etc.
The keychain is the best part of the Limited Edition version.

5 out of 5 stars The best of the best!   November 5, 2008

This game is the best of the best. If you like sneak attacks, sniping, strategy, accuracy in making your kills...this is your game! This game is in the Call of Duty 4 league, in fact, the graphics are better on COD4 but the game play I think is much better on Rainbow six. Its just a matter of preference and both games are must owns.

great game def even cooler than the first, good tactical shooter game, vegas graphics look amazing! Guns & gun customization is very in depth along with character customization, really fun but difficult.

4 out of 5 stars Great Game!   August 30, 2008

Me and my friend have been playing the two player story mode. We beat the game in all difficulties in a week. The game is awesome! The graphics are the best and the detail is unbelievable. I just wish the game was a little longer or even a little harder. I recommend this game to anyone! Of coarse the terrorist hunts will keep you busy for a while, they are hard. I hope who ever reads this buys the game!

4 out of 5 stars As fun as the original   August 4, 2008

I am enjoying this game as much as the first Rainbow Six: Vegas, they are very similar games. If you have not played the first one I highly recommend it to fans of FPS games.

There are some differences in part 2 - you can sprint now but I don't use it often since most of the time I'm hiding behind a brick wall. There are armor options I don't remember from the first game and some other neat tricks - like now you can have your AI partners throw grenades which is nice.

All together, nothing revolutionary here but as a huge fan of the first game I wasn't looking for much to change, more of the same is still a lot of fun.
