Rough sledding April 18, 2010 Beantown Jim (Florida) As a Gordon Ramsay fan who follows him on US tv as well as on his many shows on BBC America, I can say without restraint I like about everything he does. This game obviously is not programmed by him. Capturing the angst, the pressure, the overall mood of his presence is impossible to digitize, so it is no surprise that the game fizzles. I know that I would not fare well if forced to perform in the kitchen for the master chef, and this game humbles you too...but it lacks that sense of reality that is what we are seeking.
You will be screaming back at Gordon Ramsey! November 27, 2009 muggle This game is a blast and yet another one not too violent for the grandson.
They label it T for Teen but that's because of language which I don't get because they bleep out the four letter words -- which is the one fault I find with it. My grandson hears more on the show itself (we're ardent fans of both "Hell's Kitchen" and "Kitchen Nightmares") and, frankly, from us. So I don't get the T rating at all. I guess Gordon's grumpiness could justify a 10+ though I think it'd be fine rated E.
As you progress to the harder levels, since you do the cooking, serving, and the greeting and seating, you will find yourself grumbling back to Chef Ramsey as he shuts down the kitchen on you, well, you do need to hire a complete staff. Ah, but it feels so good when you gain his praise.
And if you do like to cook, there are a lot of his favorite recipes included. You have to unlock some but not all.
The game itself is just the right level of difficulty, neither too easy nor too hard. However, that's me saying that. If you like really difficult games, you might be bored by this one.

This purchase was a gift. I, personally, don't care for the game but the person I purchased it for loves the game and the TV show.
Bad programming May 15, 2009 Karen Oden (Palmdale, CA) Very poor programming. The program often hangs and the only fix is to restart it. Some levels are impossible to get the best grade due to bad programming. I love Gordon Ramsay and was really excited to get the game but now I am very disappointed. I have all the CSI games from Ubisoft and they are all great. I cannot believe they would release such a crappy developed program and don't even provide any fixes for it on their website.
Just Ok April 21, 2009 J. Holden (CA, USA) This game is like everyone has said, not a "culinary" game but a coordination/time mangement game. I got through the whole game in just several days (it only takes you through 5 or 6 weeks). After that, it's just repetitive. Nothing exciting. Kind of a waste!
