A fun way to get physical exercise January 6, 2009 J. Jenkins (Southern Indiana) This toy was for my ten year old granddaughter who likes to play hopscotch. It is a way for her to play in the house in bad weather and get some physical exercise.
Hopscotch Fun January 3, 2009 Kelly K. Bergman (Littleton, CO) Our theme this year was games that involve physical activity and this is a good game for that. I really don't see much of Twister in it, but that's probably OK for our girls who are 5 and 3. It does take a little while to set up and take down, but it's fun when you're playing.
Horrible instructions... December 31, 2008 ThisThatNEverything (Columbus, Ohio United States) My 7-year-old daughter loves playing hopscotch so I thought she'd really enjoy this but the instructions for this game are HORRIBLE. Kids are supposed to both start on opposite ends & do something like a handshake or something of their choice when they meet in the middle but it says nothing about how they are supposed to get around each other. There are a few variations listed & the kids tried them all but they are all pretty dumb. The kids are not basically making up what they do as they go along. They had fun for 10-15 minutes but that's about it. I can't recommend this game.
Great toy, needs adult help though December 30, 2008 Tanya C. Fisher My 4 year old daughter loves playing with this, but she can't put it together by herself. You have to snap the rings together with clips and her little hands just can't do it, I think in another year it will be perfect for her though. It cleans up easily and stores in a mesh bag, which I love. Her feet fit in the rings just barely though (she's a size 12 toddler) so I don't know how easy it will be to play once her feet outgrow the rings?
Great! December 28, 2008 gayla (Arizona Desert) I read several reviews before buying the toy online. One of the reasons I got it is because it appeared to appeal to children of different ages, from preschoolers to say, 10-year-olds. Also, it would be difficult to blow away, so could be used on an outdoor patio on a windy day. We used it at a Christmas Eve party (2008). The kids loved it. They put the pieces together in their own way and made their own playing rules. It was a complete success with the kids. As far as shipping, it arrived very quickly, and the price was great. I would buy this toy again.
