In 2005, Australia's National Youth Broadcaster Triple J Celebrated 30 Years on Air. As Part of the Celebrations, the Government Funded, Non-commercial Rad. They Let the Listeners Loose in their Huge Vault of Live Recordings to Select their Favourites and `must Hear Again' Recordings. The Commitment of the Station to Recording Live Shows by Local and International Acts is Unrivalled in Australia. They have One of the Best Archives of Live Music Anywhere in the World. Triple J's Impossible Music Festival Involved Putting Up a List of 500 of the Best Live Recordings on their Website for Listeners to Vote for their Favorites. The 50 Most Popular Sets were Then Featured Across a Special Weekend of Radio. It was Clear from the Enormous Feedback that Triple J's Listeners Wanted to Get Hold of Some of These Recordings on CD. It was from that Feedback that this On-going Series of CD Compilations was Initiated.
