4 out of 5 stars Very entertaining, but product quality is so so   March 18, 2008

Gives very good physical exercise and it is very entertaining. Games themselves are quite good, none of us minded the poor quality graphics.

The mat is divided into two sections (for two players) and each section has three circular spots (buttons). You do everything by stepping on these three spots. For example, in long jump game, you run by repeatedly stepping over the two little spots and jump by stepping on the larger spot.

Some games require synchronization. Game tells you when an event should happen (releasing a hammer, jumping over a hurdle, etc.) and if you do it right on the spot, you will get the most score. If you miss it with a wide margin, you will be called foul. That some times frustrates our 5-year old.

Now, the problems:
1) The mat is really a two-layer mat. When running, the top layer keeps sliding over the bottom layer and is very annoying.
2) Because our children kept running when the mat's layers slid and became folded, the top layer tore within the first few days. I have patched up using regular cellophane tape.
3) System response between the two sections is different. 2nd player's section is much more responsive. When playing against the computer, we must take the 1st player's section and we almost always lose.
4) Some games (e.g., endurance test) is just impossible to complete.

Bottom line, our family decided to keep it. Personally I think the mat design is of poor quality and deserved returning.

5 out of 5 stars Love This Game!   January 9, 2008

This is a wonderful game for children and adults alike. I purchased this game for my children thinking it would be something to keep them active during the winter and allow them to have some fun... well it does. They love to play this game and it definitely gives them a workout! What I didn't realize is how much fun it would be for adults as well. We've had friends and family members who just couldn't resist getting on the pad and giving their skills a try. It seems to be very durable, considering children and adults have been running and stomping on it and it's still going strong. It is a great, fun family game and I would definitely reccomend it to anyone.

my family had a lot of fun with this toy; we all took turns racing each other; the graphics are basic but went unnoticed by our 3 and 4 year old daughters; we feel we got our moneys worth and then some
